I have three questions regarding the customization of Work Item Types
in RTC:
- Howcan you lock fields in a specific state, making them
unchangeable?

- How can fields be made mandatory for specific actions?

You can make fields required for specific states, so if an action leads
to one of these states, the fields automatically become required.

- Can effort values be changed to be displayed in hours only (and not

please review the information in http://jazz.net/projects/rational-team-concert/learnmore/. I am not sure about locking fields in states. Maybe with addition information in the properties of a presentation?

The fields can be made mandatory in the Process customization>Team Configuration>Operational Behavior>Save Work Item. there is a dedicated Precondition for the specification of that.

There is a switch to switch to displaying Hours in Process customization>Project configuration>Configuration Data>Planning>General
