hideIfEmpty parameter not working with Web Client

I set the parameter hideIfEmpty = True for one of my String fields and in Eclipse client the field is hidden when it's empty as expected. But when I view in the Web Client the field is still there even though it's blank.

I'm using 2.0.0.2 iFix 1.


Is this a known issue or is there an extra step I need to take to enable the param in the Web Client?

I had originally opened Defect 103083 on this issue and now it's happening for me again.
