Rational Learning Offers New Training Delivery Format - Self-paced Virtual Classroom (SPVC)

As part of the IBM Rational 2010 No Travel Training initiative, Rational Education has released four (4) SPVC courses, including RTV81 Essentials of Manual Testing with IBM Rational Quality Manager V2.0. Hosted in the IBM Learner Portal, the SPVC format provides asynchronous, self-paced, online training. Each SPVC course includes:

  • Recorded audio-narrated presentations and demonstrations
  • A dedicated hosted lab environment for completing hands-on lab exercises
  • Instructor support through a course forum
  • Printable electronic student manual, workbook, and other course materials
  • Access to all content, including the lab environment, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, for 60 days from enrollment

SPVC Benefits:

  • Savings with no travel costs and lower tuition than traditional classroom training
  • Flexibility to train when and where you want, and at your own pace
  • Same content (lectures, exercises, and hands-on labs) as traditional classroom courses
  • Instructors are included "virtually" through recorded lecture and demonstrations
  • Instructors are available to answer questions in the course forum
  • Hands-on labs using real IBM software (not simulations)
