Rational Team Concert integrations

3 answers

Hi all,
Any experiences integrating RTC with:
-WSAD
-Power Center
-Business Objects
Thanks for any information to share.
Sandra
Hi Sandra
RTC will not integrate with WSAD (that is a rather old product - replaced by Rational Application Developer some time ago) as the Eclipse version is too old. If you use more recent versions of RAD - the integration is very straight-forward and the most recent versions ship with an RTC client plugin.
Not sure about Power Center or Business Objects. The first question to ask is are they part of an Eclipse or Visual Studio shell - if not, there is unlikely to be any integration.

Jazz build engine] CRRTC3526W: Warning: Build engine with UUID "__imMQEhVEd-9VcbIRamGpQ" does not exist in the repository or use does not have permission to access it.
I get the above error, while trying to integrate CC with RTC for UCM vob , I could connect using ccsync id and the synchronization was successfull, but while importing files, it fails with this error.. Is installing Build toolkit is necessary for RTC-CC integration.. ??. Why we get Build engine error.?? How can we solve this...

The "sync engine" (which performs the synchronization) is implemented
using an RTC build engine, so sometimes you'll see lower level error
messages in terms of a "build engine". The build engine code needed by
the sync engine is part of the ClearCase Connector install, so there is
no need to install the Build toolkit.
In this case, I'd suggest calling support, so they can get the details
on your environment, and diagnose what's going on. Unless you've
actually deleted some build engines, it's likely that it is a
permissions error.
(Note: It is best to not cross-post the same question to multiple
forums, since the forum software we currently use does not cross-post
the responses, requiring a copy of the response to be posted, as in this
case).
Cheers,
