Progress state not shown

Noriyuki Egi (7411818) | asked Mar 04 '10, 2:01 a.m.
Hi,
I'm setting up a new project area with a new iteration plan.
The template of the project is OpenUP.

I have created a project area iteration plan.
And I have created tasks under the UseCase work items in it.
I have filled in the Estimate and Time Spent fields for the tasks.

However the progress state on the UseCase show "--".
Progress indicators on the plan show correctly. I see the note "Progress: 0/82h Estimated 100%" underneath a white bar.

- Under each use case, I have tasks estimated in hours
- The progress state of use case is always "-"
- RTC 2.0.0.2
- My tasks are none "top level type".

Any clue how to get the progress state per use case?
Thanks for any help....

Hi,

progress on top level work items such as use cases should be in OpenUp, I believe, show the percentage of closed child work items as progress in that column. E.g. if 1 of 3 child items is closed it shows 30%.

http://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8944&highlight=estimate contains a similar discussion.

Thanks Ralph.

But the progress state on the all UseCases show "--" if the usecase has closed tasks or progress tasks.
How can we get the progress state of usecase.

Thanks for your all help.

Hi,

not sure whats wrong here. Could you make sure the Complexity Attribute in the Process template of the Project (Process Configuration>Project Configuration>Configuration Data>Planning>Plan Attributes) is set?
