Description attribute in a report

I've created a report with BIRT and I've insert the Description field using the data of WORKITE_EXTRA_DATA table.
I can see the text inserted on description attribute but I've a problem with the format.
On Description attribute the text is
row1
row2
row3

but on report the text is
row1<br>row2<br>row3

How can I solve this problem?

Where are you displaying this on the report? Is it a type of element
where you can set the content type? If so, set it to HTML and it should
be fine.

I've insert a dynamic text on the report but I don't know how I can insert the attribute value on the dynamic text field (the drag&drop doesn't work).
Please, can you explain how can I do it?

Worked with Angelo on this offline. In case anyone's interested, drop a
Dynamic Text. Go to the Property Editor and select "HTML" as the
formatting type.
