Failure saving Test execution results

Kevin Ramer (4.5k9186201) | asked Jan 29 '10, 2:59 p.m.
RQM server on AIX 5.3 / DB2 v9.5

Installed Products
Jazz Foundation - Jazz Team Server 1.0.0.1 (I20090914-1300)
Rational Quality Manager 2.0.0.1 (I20091024_1657)

Users have created test execution records which after running the test the attempt to save the result has a non-descript "Save failed @ hh:mm:ss". Hovering gives selectable text which contains:

CRJAZ0215I Item not found: com.ibm.rqm.rqmprocess.common.model.impl.TestPhaseHandleImpl@4bb04bb (stateId: , itemId: , origin: null, immutable: )

If I view the Execution results there are several results for the TER. If I click on the link under "State" another error is given and the result won't load.

Unable to retrieve the specified Execution Result. The tab for this failed to load artifact will be closed.

Detail:
CRJAZ0215I Item not found: com.ibm.rqm.rqmprocess.common.model.impl.TestPhaseHandleImpl@69876987 (stateId: , itemId: , origin: null, immutable: )

I wrote a script that will let me search for values in specific table columns in a database. I used it to search for ITEM_ID whose value is _C25L4AeaEd-2OtSeEGVEBA. Got nothing; so obviously something has disappeared. It's not likely it can be brought back, so how to recover ?

Hi

Did you ever get a resolution to this?

We have a similar problem with a test script which is not accessible after deleting an associated work item

Hi Una,

Which version of RQM are you on? Could you provide more details on the sequence of steps? Are you facing errors while viewing the testscript?

Thanks,
Deepa
