Apparent regression in query result layout column options?
Hi,
In RTC 1, I was able to select fields like "parent" and "depends on" as display columns, however in 2.0.2, I no longer see these options in the "Result Layout" tab of the query definition.
I am wondering if this was perceived as duplicate function to displaying these items as relationships in the eclipse client. For me, it really isn't. We have used these variables in display columns in the Web client so that we can have a view of relationships.
Ideally, we could see relationships in the Web query view, but losing this work-around is a huge problem for our development team.
Does anyone know if this regression was intentional, and if there are plans to add it back?
Thanks
Martha Newport

We never supported the links as columns in the Eclipse UI so far. The
functionality was (and still is in 2.0.0.2) available in the Web UI.
The alignment of handling link columns in the Web and in Eclipse is
planned for 3.0 and tracked in:

Hi Patrick,
I realize links weren't supported, but we could display the parent number or depends on work item number a column then sort outside of RTC. This was very helpful and does not appear to be available anymore. Let me know if you need a screen shot for further explanation.
It would be great if we could get this function back in a fixpack.
Thanks,
Martha
Hi Martha
A screen shot would be great. Could you open a defect on jazz.net for
the problem? If it is a regression we will certainly address it in the
next fix pack.
