Scope of "Search" on RTC Workitem view

Hi,

What is the scope of the Search feature available on the top left corner on RTC workitem view? I'm sure it searches the Summary text. Does it search on Comments, Description and Tags as well?

Yes, it is based on the full text search API and covers all attributes
that contain text, including description and comments.

Thanks for the reply Patrick.

We are using RTC 2.0 and I have issues in searching the text in Tags and Comments. Also, we are unable to search on Custom Fields.

Any clue?

We had some issues after porting to 2.0.0.2 where the free-text search would not find all items.

It turned out that we needed to re-index the workitems. This resolved the problem.

Hi Dave, are you talking about using the -rebuildTextIndices command?
