Is there an easy way to delete a team area?

James Perry (611129) | asked Jan 24 '08, 11:40 p.m.
I accidentally added a new Team Area to my Jazz repository, and want to delete it. I believe I could manually delete it from the server, but was hoping there was an easy way to delete it from the Team Concert Client, or the Web UI. I have looked, but have been unable to find this option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You can use the Archive... action from the team area's context menu.
Team areas cannot be deleted in the repository, they can just be marked
as archived.

Does archiving mean the name is forever reserved? I archive my
current team area, can I then create a new one with the same name?

The names of team areas must be unique for any particular team area
hierarchy path, including archived team areas.

You can archive and rename the team area to free up the name for reuse.
