file path to the custom sync rules

I am looking for the XML files of the custom sync rules that I can zip up but I am not seeing them in the workspace area. Where is it stored?

Do you mean the sample sync rules that is provided in the Jazz CQ connector distribution? If so, they would be stored in the syncRules directory where the Jazz CQ connector is installed.

No, I need to zip up the custom sync rules that I created without having to copy/past the content from the source tab of the sync rule.

Sync rules are objects in the Jazz database, not files. But you can export them as XML files. Just right-click on them in the Synchronization Rules view and choose Export.
