Rhapsody - Relative path for an external unit is not displayed in Rhapsody

Hello there,

I have an external unit file added in my rhapsody model. The unit file is stored in a different component in the same stream.

Added to the model as unit but without copying into the model. So even though the element is editable, it is still stored in it's own component.

There is no problem so far as everything is resolved in rhapsody.

But if I right click in Unit -> Edit Unit, I don't see the relative path of the unit file .

Show full path Unchecked

If I click on the checkbox Show full path, I can see the full path and it is correct.

Show full path Checked

Now the question is, is this going to be a problem in the future and needs to be addressed now?

If so, could you please suggest me, what property I need to use to set the relative path?

Thanks,
Madhu

The relative path for an external unit in Rhapsody may not be displayed directly in the Rhapsody interface, especially when the unit is part of a larger, managed project. This can happen when the external unit is linked into the Rhapsody model instead of being physically copied into it.
