RTC Server Side plugin : Not working for ContributesTo link after 7.0.3 upgrade.

Hi Team,


We have a server side plugin which checks whether the particular workitems(e.g, Problem) is linked using the particular link type (e.g, ContirbutesTo) on the save operation.

After 7.0.3 upgrade, this plugin is not working as the contributesTo link is not working.

Could you please help us understand why this happening, rest of the links are working fine.

I suspect the extension needs to be rebuilt with the 7.0.3 SDK and the current Java version and then it needs to be redeployed.

We have built the plugin on 7.0.3 SDK and Java 11, plugin is working as expected except for the ContributesTo and Tracks links.
We expect a error message from the plugin when contributesTo or Tracks linked workitem is deleted from the workitem, however only the deletion of the links is not identified using this plugin and the error message is not thrown.

Could you please let us know if anything is changed for the contributesTo and Tracks links in 7.0.3 ? Or what can be the issue ?

There are different link types. There are work item link types such as parent/child. There are clm link types such as tracks/contributes to.

As far as I am aware deleting a link of a clm link type does not trigger advisors/precondition and follow up actions. I did try to develop something very similar back in the day but had to call it off, because the clm link type changes can not be detected. This is not a new behavior. This is like that since the very beginning.
