Ask a question

Is it possible to assign us permission to have testdata by RS on jazz.net?

Current Situation

We have access to https://jazz.net/rs/web#/reports  but no available testdata to experiment with Jazz Reports.

Background
Currently we have identified a Jazz Report issue with RS 7.0.3, and want to verify this issue with latest RS version. When we have some  test data to to this, we can report this issue using Jazz Report Link
- e.g. WorkItems per Priority (x-axis 1 and x-axis 2 used, verify value label placement)

Thank you

Hi Alfons,

You will not be able to use https://jazz.net/rs environment for testing anymore as public data access is not available anymore as announced end of Feb, 2024, see https://jazz.net/blog/index.php/2024/02/29/jazz-net-is-evolving/.

You can use jazz.net sandbox instead, see https://jazz.net/sandbox/ which would have JKE Banking test data.

Sandbox created, CCM and RS work good,

but RS don't see data in Data Warehouse, also my CCM Project isn't visible.

In this way it's not helpfully

Hi Alfons,

Is there any particular reason you selected ELM 7.1 M7? This project area is under development and unless you are interested to test specific use case, you should always select the latest released version which is ELM 7.0.3. I just tested ELM 7.0.3 and it is working as expected. DW shows CCM project area.

Also note that you are an admin and you have ability to configure project area to your needs,

I have used Jazz ELM 7.1 M7 because we have Jazz 7.0.3 on our environments

- same issue in Jazz 7.0.3 as in newest Jazz version

Hi Alfons,

User project area permissions follow user when using Report Builder (JRS). So, if you want to have access to your test data, you need to assign access to the specific project area(s).

If you are asking about Report Builder reports, then your admin can grant you admin privilage and you will have access to all Report Builder reports.

Hi Fariz,

thank you for your answer.

This is clear for me for our own environment.

We need testdata on https://jazz.net/rs environment, because our intension is to verify and compare with newest RS version, before we deploy it to our environment.

Earlier, testdata were available, but the https://jazz.net/rs envorinment has changed.
  • e.g. JKE Banking (Change Management) is enough
