We have many modules and we create one "Story" work item per module in CCM to track.


How could we track a Work item in CCM to a "Module" in DNG?

Intention here is to track a wi to a module and not individual requirements and enable traceability .

 I looked into DNG and EWM.

In DNG, modules do not have UI to create links. Links are between requirements. A module seems to be considered as a collection and not a requirement.
In EWM if you try to create a link to a DNG artifact, modules are treated as container and you can only select requirements as targets.

My conclusion is that, at the moment, there is no way to link on DNG module level to a work item.
