 Does RQM supports Integration with Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI or does it have any adaptor is already built

 Hi Venkatesh, There is no out of the box option or customization available to support this integration as on date.

RQM (Rational Quality Manager) does not provide a direct out of the box native connector for Microsoft Power Automate or Power BI. However it supports integration through REST APIs and OSLC interfaces which allows connection with external tools using custom configuration.

For Microsoft Power Automate you can build custom connectors using RQM REST APIs to automate workflows like test case updates defect tracking and notifications. For Power BI data can be extracted from RQM using APIs or exported reports and then transformed for dashboard creation.

In real world scenarios especially for professionals learning through a power bi course in mumbai integration is usually achieved using intermediate tools like Azure services ETL tools or custom scripts to fetch and structure the data.

So while there is no built in adaptor available RQM can still be integrated with both platforms using APIs and custom solutions.

IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM) does not natively support integration with Microsoft Power Automate or Power BI, and there are no built-in adapters available for these tools. It is primarily designed to integrate within the IBM ecosystem and supports certain third-party integrations through APIs or middleware rather than direct connectors.

I think the better question would be "Does Power BI or Automate support connecting to IBM ELM?" as this is the issue.

ELM has an open API and several well documented, industry standard, ways to connect to the server, such as OAuth, Basic Authentication, Form based, Application Password and Token, but Power BI doesn't have native support for any of these and requires a custom workflow that can only be done in the client.

This means that you can't automate server to server data fetches from Power BI to any system that requires a login and you end up having to use the client and manually do a data update. Because of this, most clients find the simplest approach is to use Report Builder to create a live Excel report export, and then use the standard Excel connection in Power BI client.

There are business partners, such as Celeris, who have developed Power BI connector middleware, which will manage the data fetch from ELM using any of the above login methods, and then push to Power BI using something it is capable of using
