 I want to modify or create my own version of a default requirements widget specifically the Requirements Tracing widget. I would like to create a copy of the widget that finds all of the requirements that don't have the specified link type. Is there a way to find the source code for the existing requirements tracing widget or do I just need to build it from scratch?

 AFAIK there is no source code published for the built-in widgets - you'll have to code it for yourself.
