Report Builder Access

 Hi Team,


Can anyone confirm if user profile with JazzUser  along with Author and Commenter role in DNG can generate the  report using JRS.

No, the criteria above do not give you reporting access.

  • Read access is usually not tied to a role as far as I can tell. So the role is irrelevant for reading.

The following criteria would be important:
  1. JazzUser is a Repository Permission that allows access to repository data in general. You have to be at least JazzUser or JazzGuest to access any data in Jazz.
  2. The project areas have Access Control configurations and the user has to qualify the criteria for it to be able to access the data.
  3. To access data, it is also usually necessary to have a license e.g. Practitioner, Contributor, Stakeholder, Analyst.
Any valid license grants access to the report builder/JRS and the reports would be able to access the data the user is able to access based on 1,2,3 above, as far as I know.
