Wrap text within Excel cell in exported Excel workbook via Publishing (RPE)

Bob 3 (1481967) | asked Mar 14 '22, 5:06 p.m.

Is it possible to tell Excel to wrap the text within a cell in an exported Excel workbook via Publishing?

When I publish lengthy text to Excel cells, the data is published, but often is visually truncated by the width of the column in which the cell resides.
Running version 7.0.2.
Thanks!

Did you try setting "Wrap text" property for Excel output?

Prasad, thank you for pointing out the global "wrap text" property for Excel output formats! This sets every cell to wrap text.

What I was looking for was the ability to specify for a particular cell or range of cells that they should wrap text.
Is that possible?

No, you cannot do that through RPE as it is specific to Excel output. Currently there is no property to wrap text which can be applied at template element level.
