Hi,

I am looking at updating an equipment register/database for test equipment and equipment under test. Would Rational Asset Manager be the right tool for this in IBM Rational Tool Suites/ELM, or is it purely for managing servers and related hardware?

Many thanks

Thanks for the reply, I've already looked through these though and they don't actually answer my question. As IBM aren't able to offer a clear answer on the tool then I will suggest something like Asset Panda instead.

It is a tool to provide a customizable workflow to enable managing file based assets such as libraries, application(versions) etc. It is not an asset tracking tool as far as I can tell.

Thanks, we think we've found a way of doing what we're after with another IBM tool.
