What is the effect of links on DOORS Next performance?

Intuitively, it would seem that as the number of links increases the worse DN would perform. However, is there any documentation to support or refute this idea? 


I'm proposing a more robust use of links in our requirements projects, but this concern always comes up and I don't have any objective data to point to.

There is a lot of elements that can impact the performance of DNG. I suggested starting with checking sizing of your platform and architecture in which it is deployed.
