Reporting for GIT with JSON data

Stefan Oblinger (185213) | asked Jul 22 '20, 10:35 a.m.

Hello,

according to the New and Noteworthy of V7.0.1, it is possible to report on Git data(https://jazz.net/pub/new-noteworthy/pub/7.0.1/7.0.1/index.html#2):

Support reporting for GIT with JSON data

You can generate document from GitLab and Github. IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Publishing (PUB) can retrieve data from the REST API provided by these tools. Template designer can leverage various options (sorting, filtering, etc.) provided by Publishing.

Where can I find more information on this topic? Are there any RPE templates or or any how-to?

Thanks,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

I suggest to watch Generating documents with JSON data from GitLab video https://youtu.be/Vrwy1CidsAE. This should provide you everything you need.
