PUB is very slow when trying to get the latest Test Case Result
I've just got into Rational Publishing Engine, and I figured one of the standard things one could want to get is getting the latest results for each test case.
And it's SO slow.
We've got a couple of thousand requirements, which translate to a couple of ten thousand test cases, which translate to a couple hundred thousand test case results.
And right now my first idea of matching up the test case results with the test cases, is comparing the reference of one with the identifier of the other until they get a match and using that. (Why are they this disconnected anyways if they are not independently interpretable?)
The problem is that this is "number of test cases" x "number of test case results" operations.
I figured using a lookup table and some Excel magic may do the trick.
How do you do it?
