RTRT apapter failed to register to RQM server, why?
Hi,all,
Since RQM2.0 can support RTRT 7.5 script now, it works fine on my environment, I have one vmware machine installed RTRT 7.5,on my local physical machine, RQM2.0 was installed, and RTRT7.5 adapter works fine, I have created one RTRT test script, and it works. However, on our customer environment,They have RQM2.0 intalled on one vmvare machine, 172.27.0.201, RTRT7.5 installed on the other machine,172.16.19.131. on RTRT machine, can connect to https://172.27.0.201:9443/jazz/web/console and using RQM functions. however, when trying launching RTRT adapter to register with RQM sever, it fails and the below message comes: Enter the connection information to access the Rational Quality Manager server Usually the server URL looks like https://hostname:9443/jazz Server URL: https://172.27.0.201:9443/jaza Login: zhang Password: zhang Enter adapter name (default is : TestRT on zhanglihu-test) TestRT on zhanglihu-t est Rational Test RealTime adapter failed to register with the Rational Quality Mana ger server: com.ibm.rqm.adapter.library.data.AdapterException: Failed to retriev e adapter information Press any key to continue. . . I am sure the RTRT adapter can connec to RQM server, for once the login/password combination is wrong, the cridention error will appears. so seems, the problem is with RQM server side or network side. can you give me any message how to follow it? or my questions comes: 1), What does RQM server do to make RTRT adapter register ok, will it send back message to the RTRT adapter machine? 2) Any special port should be opened except 9443, for seems the only difference between the customer environment and mine is that there are more network/fireway setting there. any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. RQM 3.0.1 requires RTRT 7.5.0.4 or above. This page documents the
minimum product levels required for Rational execution adapters to work with RQM 3.0.1: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/topic/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_upgrade_rqm_overview.html |
