Unable to create/update manual test script

Edwin Aquitania (111) | asked Nov 10 '09, 8:01 p.m.
I am encountering a problem when creating or updating a manual test script in RQM. When i try to add a step after entering the first step, the Description and Expected Results grays out the editable field preventing me from entering any text either for the Description or the Expected Result field. At least 2 of my colleagues have seen this same behavior on their own. It was first seen by one of my colleague last week but she could no longer reproduce the error now.

I noticed the problem happens once i receive the following message "Done, but with errors in page." in my status bar in IE (lower left corner). When i double click on this message i get the following dialog box with this message:
Line: 17
Char: 28929
Error: 'document' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: https://adtjazz3002.accenture.com/jazz/web/console/CIO%20Sandbox

I tried using Firefox and the problem is not happening. It seems to happen only in IE. All or most of our users are using IE browser and the company is really strict about using non-standard applications. Firefox is a non-standard application.

Please let me know what might be causing this, or how we can possibly resolve this problem.

I'm using RQM version 2.0.0.1, and my browser is IE version 7.0.5730.13

Thanks.
