Test Plan/Case history record

Test Plan/Case Snapshot cannot record change history like a work item does.

A user has to create a snapshot to have one history record. If he didn't, there is no history record for the test plan/case.

What we are looking for is a real change history for test plan/case.

Thanks.

I do not re-collect if RQM 2.0 had this but now in the latest version, we do have History tab under 'Sections' of test plan/test cases which gives the complete history of that artifact.

Hello Rajat,

Do you know if such history in RQM 4 is stored in Data Warehouse? In other words is it possible to use it e.g. in RRDI?

In RQM 2.0.0.1 you can actually find the history for Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts. Click on the arrow in the small PDF icon and you will see an option to get the history in pdf format.

 Hi,

I am facing a similar issue where in a user reports :

One of the testcases  have got deleted in RQM - Reason unknown.

RQM Version: 2.0.1 iFIX 05

Note: We have put some restriction , such that only administrators can remove test cases / test scripts

The end-user suspects that if some other actions trigger this deletion ( eg:  Requirements linked to these Test cases has been archived first etc)

Can we get to know the history regarding the TC/ Test Scripts ( Who deleted when )

I don't find an solution to this issue.  Let me know if any suggestions.

Try reviewing the resource history (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi#historyUrl or History section in the test case editor).
