RQM V6.0.5 iFix 011 : How to Add Link to Requirements in Test Scripts?

khouri joelle (1317) | asked May 28 '19, 9:05 a.m.

Hello,

I want to dispatch my requirements on the Steps of my "Test scripts" and I find the procedure that I use very slow.

Here are the steps

· Position yourself on the 1st Step

· Click on "link to any requirement"

· Move to the desired directory

o It is necessary to make a displacement of the horizontal scroll which by default is centered and hides the + to unfold the trees.

· Filter and attempt if possible to take all Step requirements, unless if they are on multiple pages

· Add and move on to Step 2

· Click on "link to any requirement"

· Move to the desired directory (we start from scratch by default)

· Etc. (for other Steps)

· Make SAVE and wait about 1 minute as the links are tested.

Is there a more efficient procedure?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi,

If requirement module is not connected with the Test Case ( parent of that test script) then you would have to go. through the steps you had mentioned in the question.
How ever, if you associate Requirement Module to the parent test case, then you could simply attach a requirement with the Test Script Step by using "Show Requirement View" icon on that step editor. This way it would be faster to add requirement artefacts to script steps.

Thanks,
Abhishek
