Define tree entry point for an attribute of type CATEGORY

 I would like to use the defined categories in a new attribute of type Category.

On a branch of the category definition shall be avaiable

example of setup: 
Categories
..Branch 1
....Leaf 1.1
....Leaf 1.2
..Branch 2
....Leaf 2.1
....Leaf 2.2

New attribute shall allow only Branch 2 and children

Any hint how I can achieve that

 not possible! We created a service handling this
