repotools -createTables with Oracle db giving service error
![]()
I'm installing RQM 2.0 for the first time. I've configured it to use an Oracle database. When running repotools -createTables, I get "Initial database connection successful" but then I get "Failed to get the service com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.rdb.IDatabaseStateService". I have made the change suggested in http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21382927 without any change.
The Oracle db server is Oracle 11 and 64-bit. As far as I can see, this is not supported. Does anyone know if this is likely to cause the symptom above please or is my problem something else? TIA |

There is a bug in repotools version 2.0. https://jazz.net/jazz02/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/20155 You should install iFix1 before using the repotools. If this doesn't helps, just open a new ticket for your problem. Regards, Stefan. |

Thanks Sefan. We used an Oracle 10g db and all was well. We have since installed FixPack1 which has corrected a subsequent problem. Mick
