Rational Software Modeler version mismatch

I'm not sure what you mean by "link with", but the way to make this work
(I did it last week ... although with RSA v7.5.4, rather than RSM
v7.5.4, but the behavior should be the same) is to use the Install
Manager to load the RTC-2.0 Eclipse client into the same IM install
package as RSA v7.5.4.

Earlier postings have pointed out that if you installed RTC-1.0 into
that install package, you need to first uninstall RTC-1.0 before you
installing RTC-2.0 into that install package (I hadn't installed any
versions of RTC into RSA v7.5.4, so I didn't have to do that).

The only think I encountered during my install of RTC-2.0 into the RSA
v7.5.4 release is that I had to uninstall the CCRC integration (IM told
me very clearly that I had to do that because of version mismatches, so
it wasn't a problem).

It actually exposes what is needed in order to inject RTC in Eclipse Classic 3.4.2 but it fairly gives a good idea on the required dependencies.

This problem is solved when you install the RTC client version 2.x.x.x using the same platform that RSM, RSA, or anyone R...

Example:

When you run the IM thought RTC client launchpad, the IM will choose by default the JAZZ platform.
You need change this platform to where the RSM and RSA are installed.
Normally this platform is "IBM Software Delivery Platform" -> C:\Program Files\IBM\SDP

This solve the problem.
