Is there a method of access control to an RQM Lab Machine or Adaptor within a team?

Matt Taylor (111) | asked Jan 18 '19, 8:28 a.m.

We have a situation where we wish to run auto tests from RQM via a command line adaptor running on our local machines.

However these machines are on a secure network and with an adapter running on one machine a team member has the facility to issue command line instructions on another members machine. This is a big red flag in terms of our company security policy.

Is there any access control mechanism to restrict one users adaptor to only be run through from their RQM account?

A temporary fix is to reserve the lab machine with an open date, meaning others can link but not execute, but I was wondering if there is a more concise way of achieving this?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,
Unfortunately, we do not have any direct mechanism to restrict only one user to use adapter for a particular lab resource.
The method you have adopted to keep the resource reserve for one person with open date seems to be the only way currently to achieve this.

Thanks,
Abhishek.
