Unable to link Requirement to Test Case

RQM ver 2.0
Browser: Fire Fox 3

This is a strange issue that I am facing. There are specific set of requirements that do no show up in the requirements section of "Test Case".

This is what I am trying to do:
1. Add requirement in the requirements module.
2. In the test case module, goto the "Requirements" section and select add requirement.
3. From the list of requirements, I search for the requirement that I added.

I see that the requirement is not listed and hence unable to link them.

Is the test case linked to a test plan? If so you will only see the

requirements that are included in the test plan. I consider this a bug
and plan to open a defect on it (found it a long time ago but it got
lost in my todo's. I will open up now - thanks for reminding me.

Thanks confirming this defect. As a work around, I found that if all the requirements are included in a (dummy) test plan in RQM, I am able to link the requirement. So till such time this defect is fixed, we will go ahead and adopt this work around.

Thanks Don Yang.

I am using RQM 4.0.3. However, after adding a existing RRC requirement to RQM test case which is linked to 2 test plans, it doesn't show any thing in the requirement links of the test case. When I open RRC requirement, I do see its linked to RQM test case, however, in test case it doesn't display the RRC requirement. Please suggest!
