URI for https://jazz.net/jazz/ and Eclipse client
![]()
I often prefer to use the Eclipse client. What is the URI to use for the Jazz project? I have tried https://jazz.net/jazz/ and https://jazz.net:9443/jazz/ but neither works. I have confirmed that I am using the correct userid/PW.

For "Rational Team Concert" and "Jazz Foundation" project, it is https://jazzdev.torolab.ibm.com:9443/jazz For other project host on jazz.net please refer: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/DevSetupMain --Alex |

I think the real story here is that if you are an IBM employee and therefore are able to go behind the IBM firewall then you can access this address and thus use the Eclipse client.... as long as you have been granted access to the repository as Anthony has said. There has to be a good business reason to be granted access to the repository If you are not an IBM employee then the only access you have is through the Web client. Guy |

Note that the URL for the jazz-dev repositories (both the production and
test repositories) are frequently published to the jazz-dev mailing lists, so these are not considered secret. But as has been pointed out, to use the Eclipse client to access these repositories, your credentials need to be authorized for access to both the IBM firewall and the jazz-dev repository.
