Is it possible to "import" existing requirements into a collection?

I am using CLM suite 6.0.6.

I currently have a DNG user manually creating collections with large amounts of requirements (700+). Feedback from the user is asking if there is a way to automate creating these collections or if there is a possibility to "import" existing requirements into a new collection. The only way I can think of this being possible is by importing updates to existing requirements and include a parameter that captures whether a requirement is apart of a collection or not. However, this would mean that parameter would be captured similar to how an attribute is captured. I don't believe this exists but wanted to reach out here on the chance that it is possible this way or by any other means. Any help is greatly appreciated!
