Suppose I have a sprint of 4 weeks and in between there is a week where I do KT as well as Design . So, for iterations how do I edit dates ?

I am using Rational Team Concert V6.0.2

All members of a team associated to a timeline work on the same active iteration. The iteration describes the temporal aspect and not (necessarily) the functional aspect what you do. If you want to provide an iteration type or name that expresses functional aspects such as design for the whole team/project area, you can do that. You can also further split an iteration into sub iterations e.g. to do one week KT and to say so and to do one week of design.
