Is Buildforge anywhere near getting upgraded to Java 8?

From IBM support around 3/27/18: "Currently No version of BF in market has IBM JDK 1.8. Latest release which is BF8007 at the moment is shipped with JAVA 7. We have road-map to upgrade to JAVA 8 but no time line at the moment."

Is BF anywhere near getting upgraded to Java 8?
