Regarding Due Date Notifier plugin in RTC

I have just modified mail body in due date notifier plugin , for testing purpose I want to get mail within 5 min
For that I have changed time 12 hours to 5 min in advanced properties,but I am unable to getting mail and also unable to debug the code
Please give me solution on same ,I think I missed the some steps
