Jazz server cannot add floating license Jazz server as outbound friend

I have a jazz instance running 6.0.2 (Linux, liberty). I am trying to connect it to the floating license server that is 6.0.5 (windows, websphere).

When trying to add the license server as a outbound friend, I receive this error.
An error occurred while requesting the root services document from server "https://someserver.com/jts/rootservices". Please check the URL and try again.ID CRJAZ1575E

I know that the 602 local host knows and can ping the 605 server. And i know that the 602 can add a outbound entry for another jazz instance thats on the same network as 605.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The floating license server has clients connected to it, so you would think that that part is ok. And the 602 instance can connect to another license server besides the one i need it connected to.

Is it possible that there is an issue between 602 and 605 or between linux and windows?

 Hey Don,

Thanks for the response. I can access root services on the floating license server. Other clients have been able to connect to this floating license server as well.

Its odd to me that only this machine wont recognize its availability. Does anyone know if its just a quick connectivity test that is preformed when adding a outbound friend?
