I have installed CLM 6.0.5 on a VM server but unable to access URL from local machine.

I have installed CLM 6.0.5 on a VM server. URL is accessible from the server but unable to access from local machine. I am able to ping the server IP and DNS (with port) name. URL : https://clm.[COMPANYNAME].com]:9443.

However I am able to login to URL with server IP.  https://[10.xx.xx.xx]:9443/jts/admin but again it is redirecting to https://clm.[COMPANYNAME].com]:9443.

Let me know if i missed something configuration.

Regards,
Sousan

Sousan,

which error do you get when you try to login using the DNS URL (https://clm.[COMPANYNAME].com:9443/jts/admin) ?
Please, have a look at the CLM and Websphere logs.

could you please specify the path from where I can get CLM and Websphere logs

See:

for logs locations.
Can you detail your issue?
When you try to access the jts/admin page, is your browser able to load it in both cases (i.e. when using the IP and when using the DNS name)?
If the page is loaded, are you able to login in both cases?

Have you added the URL name to the /etc/hosts file on your local machine?

Example:
    127.0.0.1    clm.[COMPANYNAME]

(The above works if you want to access the CLM server from a browser ON the server, be sure to replace 127.0.0.1 with IP address of your server when modifying the /etc/hosts file on your local machine)
