Hi I have created a project area that uses the process configuration from another project area.
I can create new timelines on the new "child" project area but I cant set up the backlog iteration because that is set up on the "Master Project Area".

Is there anyway?

What if you remove the backlog iteration in the sharing process?

Hi Ralph

I'm  using a backlog iteration on the "Master" Project Area already.  And I have workitems planned for that iteration.

My understanding has always been that the whole purpose of the master project is to be a process provider. It is not supposed to be used. My experience has been that If you have a real working project then you can't even share its process any more.
