How to import/export a schema in Rational Publishing Engine (RPE)

Hello,

I am using RPE 2.1.1

I notice that when you export a schema from a template (right click on the schema name in the outline pane) that the results may contain multiple .xsd files.  

When I try to import a schema using "Insert->Data Source Schema->Browse" there is only room for one of the files in the dropdown box. How, then, should I import the schema?

Hi Linda,

Yes, the exported schema could contain multiple xsd files. It depends on the data source.

While adding data source using such exported schema, you should point to one that starts with url_xxxxx.xsd. Adding just one will take care of the rest.

Actually, this answer was not entirely true when I tried it.

However, when I selected the .xsd file with the name starting with uri_, that did work.
