Can plan views be part of a template?

I have a project that has number of plan views. I created a template off of that project but none of the plan views became part of the template. Is there a way to get these planned views into the template? If not is there a work around? Thanks.........

Have a look into the SAFe template. There are different Plan types with several Plan Views pre-configured.
