MOHANAKRISHNAN CHINNASAMY (133) | asked Jan 04 '18, 3:03 a.m.

Hi, We are using RTC 6.0.3 with WebSphere. We want to find where the application default url (domain) configured in WebSphere. For example our url domain is https://xxxxx.yyyy.com, we want to find where it is mentioning in WebSphere (not \ccm or \jts... just need the default url). Can someone help here?

Thanks

Mohan

Nothing like that is stored in WebSphere. The FQDN should be defined in a DNS. WebSphere may try to resolve the IP address by the machine name (which can be different from the FQDN). For CLM applications, the public URI is stored in the database and teamserver.properties.

The public URI is configured manually and is only available in the application. In fact, the user doing the setup has to know and choose the public URI based on the information from the setup (domain name, port, context root etc).

The public URI could potentially be created from information e.g. the domain name of the host, the WAS profile, the port (of the profile/virtual host) and the context root of the app, but that is really not practical and what you want to do.

The chosen public URI can be found in the teamserver.poperties file of the application.
