Choose build record before you generate TCER

Leesen Padayachee (9962120) | asked Nov 15 '17, 3:45 a.m.

 Hi

We have recently upgraded to CLM 6.0.4. Is it possible to choose a build record in RQM before running a test?

For e.g, in a test plan, before we generate all our TCER's, can we define in bulk that all the TCER's are for a certain build. Currently, the only way to select a build record is to "Run with options" when selecting your TCER, and then choosing the build record before you execute the test. We want to be able to choose this build record when we generate out TCER's in bulk, or alternatively define the build record for a specific test plan.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Leesen

TCER are not for a particular build. Currently this facility is not available. But you can add all those tcer in an execution schedule and trigger the schedule based on a build definition

Hi Subhajit

If we add all the TCER's into an execution schedule, and then run the TCER's manually..the result of the TCER does not show any build record or build definiton. Please advise if I have done something wrong? Do you any more documentation on this? The basic jazz help does not go into detail with regards to this process.
