Ask a question

Why is the build engine in RBD is daily set to inactive?

Using RTC with Jenkins, I observed that the defined build engine is daily set to inactive.

We work with continuous integration, so the build engine is scheduling and triggering a daily build for Jenkins.

But when the build engine is inactive no build takes place.

Can anybody help me with this?

Remark:

Currently we solve this issue by activating the build engine and start a manual build on Jenkins.

This problem occured October 16th 2017 for the first time.

Before that, it worked and the build engine was active as default.

I don't see a question here. If you want others to do troubleshooting for you, there is simply not enough information.

 The build engine could be getting deactivated if the credentials for the Jenkins server provided in the Build Engine is incorrect.

@Donald Nong
I modified the question title and description. Thanks for the feedback!

@Lakshmi Narasimhan T V
I verified that the credentials for the Jenkins server provided in the Build Engine are correct.
