Complexity, which is an enumeration field is not pulling in data for traditional template in report builder

Giribabu Pragada (1127) | asked Oct 16 '17, 7:50 a.m.

We tried creating a report which pulls out complexity values for work products, defects and activity. We are trying to pull in data from the scrum template as well as the FPM template. Here we have noticed that complexity value appears properly for the scrum template where as it is appearing as a blank value for FPM template.

We have noticed that complexity is an enumeration field which is stored as story points in the back end. Inside the DB server, The complexity value for FPM template is getting stored as zero, How to fix this issue ?

Thanks,
Giri.

Hi Giri,

I have created a new project area using Formal Project Management template, run DCC job, and click Refresh. "Complexity" attribute in this project appears in Report Builder, but it is blank as you said. I notice that "Complexity" attribute is not defined in the default FPM template (Manage this Project Area > (Formal Project) > Work items > Enumerations, then there is no "Complexity"). Make sure this attribute is defined here, set proper enumeration values, run DCC job, and click Refresh in data source. Then it should appears like scrum projects.
