Assigning role at Project level or at Team level in CLM tools.

In any CLM tool [RQM,RTC,DNG], i can add new member at Project level or at team [T1] level. What is the difference if i assign same role at project level or at team level?.  will there be any access difference or it just represents that member belongs to T1 team, in terms of access permission both are same.

 Hi Naveen,

You can assign permissions at the project level, or for more granular control, at a team level. After you assign permissions, you can view or change the permissions in the Team Ownership Overview window.

Note: Selecting Final (ignore customization of this operation in child areas) does not change the setting that is displayed for the operation in the team area; it still shows that the Team Member role can create an Epic work item even though the role cannot do that.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Roles assigned at the project level cascade down to all team areas in that Project Area. For example, if I have the ScrumMaster role assigned in the project area, I will also have it for any team area. The same is true for team areas and subteams: role assignments cascade down.

I am not sure what you are asking about access. Can you elaborate?

Thanks,
Ruby
