Ask a question

adding a work item with links to its siblings?

I often find myself subdividing tasks into child work items, and often
I end up doing a series of operations that's pretty clunky.
Is there a simple way to take a work item, create multiple children of
it, with related links or blocks/blocked by links between the siblings?

I can create a new child easily, but it's not related or blocked by any
of the siblings.

I can extract a new work item from one of the children, it will end up related
to the sibling but it's not a child of the parent.

WI 1: children 2, 3, 4, 5

Child 2: parent 1; blocks 3 and 4
Child 3: parent 1; blocked by 2, related to 4
Child 4: parent 1; blocked by 2, related to 3

Maybe I want is options on the "extract new work item" action that let
me select same parent/no parent, and select blocks/blocked by/related as
the way to link the old and new items?
