Subscription to external Feeds

Matthias Böhmer (1462019) | asked Jul 29 '08, 4:03 a.m.
Hello there,

I appreciate the possibilty to subscribe Team Concert to external feeds. I tried to include an Atom 1.0 feed about recent changes in out wiki (Mediawiki). But I have some problems with the status of each item: Team Concert seems to do not save the state wheather I have read an entry or not. Also manually toggling the state seems to get disordered. Is there any solution?

Best regards,
mboehmer

Is it possible for you to post the link to that feed so that we can have a look and debug the issue?

Thanks,
Ben

No, not really. Our wiki is secured by http auth. Maybe the feed of Wikipedia behaves similar, since it also uses Mediawiki:

Right, I am able to reproduce and filed bug 59293: Read-State for a wiki-changes-feed (ATOM) not preserved. See https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/59293

I found the samme error in the Web UI. In a viewlet I created for feeds, the read state also does not become persistent.

Can you confirm that this only happens for entries like deleting or adding a wiki topic? Or, do you see it for regular changes to wiki topics (edits) as well?

No, this happens for editing pages as well.
