RQM-Time spent should be automatically populated from Estimate, and editable
Hello Jazz team,
I see that tester Time Spent needs to fill in value for Time Spent, do we have any ways to get Time Spent value same as Estimate category?
However, Time Spent should be still editable, in case there are much difference between Estimate (to run TCER) and actual Time Spent that tester ran this TCER. Maybe
- If Estimate of TCER is 30 minutes, Time Spent of tester to run this TCER is 35 minutes, time difference here can be acceptable, no need to change Time Spent or Estimate field, just use same value as in Estimate. Save time of both planner/test lead and tester
- If Estimate of TCER is 30 minutes, Time Spent of tester to run this TCER is 50 minutes, time difference here is significant. Tester will update actual time to Time Spent field
This will save tester time a lot in updating test results for many TCERs, also provide fairly accurate picture if test plan/test case estimation is correct, to be useful for next planning phase
